No response to sales enquiry. Finally booked an appointment for them to measure up for 4 sets of blinds. They didn't turn up , or call me to advise that they couldn't make the agreed appointment. When I did manage to speak to somebody they were full of pathetic excuses and lies. They are a total bunch of cowboys , with no care for customers or service .YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

They came to fit us some vertical blinds and at first everything seemed fine so we paid them and they left, later when we tried to close the blinds they would not turn to the closed position, the fitter had put them too close to the top of the window frame so the blinds got stuck when you tried to close them. We tried phoning Jaynes blinds on both the phone numbers listed but no one answered, after many attempts to reach them the mobile phone was eventually answered by the fitter and he promised to come back the next day and sort the problem out. He never turned up so we were back to trying to reach them by phone again,many attempts later a woman answered the mobile number and said she would find out why the fitter had not turned up and then she would ring us back. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR HER TO RING US BACK 4 DAYS LATER. We paid for the blinds and their fitting and we expected them to do a good job instead they fitted the blinds incorrectly and then ignored us when we told them oof the problem. We wish we had never asked them to fit any blinds at our home,their customer service is appalling and their just take your money and then have no intention of sorting any problems out. A company should be proud of the work they do and then they'd get good reveiws and more customers, we definately won't be recommending Jaynes Blinds to anyone

Booked my appointment for new blinds and along came Mel. She was really helpful and soon had me sorted out with my blinds.Best of all no pushy sales talk. Mel came back with Wayne the following week to fit them for me. Lovely job!!! Mel was running at the back of Wayne cleaning window sills. Nothing was too much trouble. A lovely couple and so kind. Any complaints about this company you can take with a pinch of salt. I FOR ONE WILL BE HAPPY TO PROMOTE JAYNES BLINDS AND MEL AND WAYNE! Thank you so much. Great job. Janet Hailes.

problems with blinds on arrival , had to re- measure and alter fittings , man and Daughter or helper arrived, didn't speak much , girl very unsociable felt uncomfortable , would not use again.

not a wise choice

do not use this company i had blinds fitted on Friday afternoon and by sunday my bedroom blind had fallen down contacted the company and was told the fitter was on holiday for the weekend not impressed at all will never use this company again we had the blinds fitted just before we moved in to our new home when the sun shone it looked like the slats were full of little pin holes i picked what i thought was a thicker blind in oyster colour i only bought 3 blinds and one was quite small they cost 250 pounds and were bought as a moving in present

Do not use jaynes blinds! Simple as, they are not professional and do not fit blinds correctly, they are happy to take your money but when contacted to come and correct mistakes they make failed promises! I am submitting this report for a friend, they made a complete fool out of! Discussing you should be ashamed!

Wrong colour, fitted wrongly, damaged walls - Avoid!

Had these people in to fit a number of blinds - fitted wrong colour and fitted the clamps on the wrong way on one window! Also used a hammer drill on plasterboard so made a complete mess. Charged extra to refit a curtain rail that fell down after 30 minutes. Complete joke. Contacted them, promised to come and sort "after holiday" but never came; ignored our calls. Totally rubbish company. As for the anon comments, please leave a number in response that you will answer and I'll happily give you feedback over the phone, or come back and sort out the job!

if they fit the WRONG COLOUR then why in the *** did you pay for it, why not say on the day "i refuse to pay as it is the wrong colour" simple .... but i bet you ordered a odd colour ...

decided you did not like it .. and came up with a daft story to cover up ... end of day ... you paid ...

so you accepted .. so deal with it and stop crying like a little baby

I do not know about the supposed ignored phone calls I have no idea about that, did you ever follow up with the complaint to us in writing, as I don't Ever recall reading about this type of problem, I will willing look at you issue but I need more details, please submit in writing, to the address on your receipt, or call the head office on 01302 24**** for the address or by email to jaynesblinds@***.com

Vertical blinds dropped off & promised replacement fastener never sent

Do not use this firm! You're best advised to look at other alternatives, especially installer on Laughton Road, Dinnington The vertical blinds fitted dropped off because fastener broke in two. Contacted the fitter who said they'd had quite a number of similar reported problems but they would post me replacements. These never arrived, despite several requests over a period of a month, but a helpful vertical blind company on Laughton Road in Dinnington happily supplied (better quality) replacements free of charge. I was also messed-around with original promised installation arrangement, despite advertised fitting within stated time limit. DON'T USE JAYNE'S CURTAINS, BLINDS & CARPETS OF ROTHERHAM!

I have just stayed in all evening waiting for a quote rang when they were lait and was told 30 minutes now 9pm complete joke how do some firms stay in business it's beond me

Asked for someone to come and give me a quote, was told an approximate time. When no one arrived I called and was told they were 15/20 mins away so I waited.

No one arrived and no one is now answering my calls. Not very professional.

I feel I've had a lucky escape as it seems a poor company. I shall be warning everyone not to use this company

My name is mel, I do the appointments around Rotherham, on June 10th I missed no one out, perhaps you have rung the wrong company, if this is the only complaint about you have of Jaynes blinds, perhaps then we have had a lucky escape with you, if I did generally missed somebody out then I would apologise, it's funny how your annoymous

St Nicholas rd was the only appointment I missed out on June the 10th, the reason being is because firstly you was not in my diary, you rang up and you was extremely rude, if this is the only complaint you have of the company, then it is Jaynes blinds who had a lucky escape and if I have missed somebody out in the past then I always ring and apologise.

Absolutly no after sales at all turned up a day late to fit blinds then hadproblems with length of blinds but every time you phoned they said they would call and sort it and never did after several months of calls took them to some one on wellgate in rotherham to fix stay clear of cowboys
